TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas, the leading Certification and Inspection Organization in Greece, has once again affirmed its strong presence in the domestic market by receiving recognition at this year’s “Diamonds of the Greek Economy” awards. The ceremony celebrating business excellence took place on Wednesday 14th of December 2023, at the Grand Bretagne Hotel, attended by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Staikouras, and executives from the country’s most dynamic business groups and organizations. This recognition is a testament to the company’s successful journey, as it continues to grow dynamically, investing in innovation and development.
With a successful presence in Greece for nearly 30 years, TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas continues to expand, offering pioneering services and products while strengthening its position as the leading provider of Certification, Technical & Industrial Inspections, Education, Laboratory Testing, and Digital Learning Solutions. In 2022, the company’s turnover increased by 14.82%, and EBITDA profits rose by +6.65% compared to the previous year. Simultaneously, within five years, the company doubled its workforce, doubled TÜV AUSTRIA’s business turnover in Greece, resulting in a corresponding tripling of profits. The company also expanded its portfolio of services through the integration of ACTA – Spin Off Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Food Allergens Labs & CCS Digital Education, thereby broadening its activities in accredited professional skills certification, laboratory analysis/testing, and digital learning solutions, respectively.
Another achievement of the company is the relocation of its Branch in Thessaloniki to a new standalone building of 700m², serving as a hub for its services in Northern Greece and the Balkans, reinforcing its commitment to the broader regional development. The inauguration of the new Branch took place last June.
